2001 National Division Champions!

It's now Back-to-Back-to-Back, a "Three Peat" for Plain Wrap!!!
1999 and 2000 National Division Champions, Plain Wrap defended their title by knocking out their 17th consecutive win of the season defeating the Orioles 9-3 at Lancaster Stadium in the morning game.

3-Peat was definitely in the air as Plain Wrap rallied for two runs in the fourth, three in the fifth and two in the sixth in a 1-0 come from behind victory.

Designated hitter, Scott Sharts, blasted a two run home run over the left field wall with one out in the fourth; scoring short stop Andy Hodgins who had walked and stole second.

The fifth inning started with singles from designated hitter Dave Cravens and centerfielder Mike Nesbit who also added a stolen base. Nesbit scored on right fielder, Joey Arnold’s two out single to right.

Craven shined again in the sixth with a two run triple to the right center gap scoring leftfielder Kevin Milligan and catcher Tim Degrasse.

Starting pitcher Mike Eby went the distance for Plain Wrap despite a frightening collision with a runner while covering first on a ground ball. Eby allowed just 3 runs on 11 hits, striking out 2 with 2 walks.

Plain Wrap opened the season at 1-5 but then turned it around winning 17 straight games with the same talent that brought them 4 out of the last six championships.
