1998 American League Champions!
The last game of the championship day was the American Division Championship game played under the lights at JetHawk Stadium. The West Valley Dodgers faced off against the two time Federal Division Champion, Rangers. In the second and third innings the Rangers scored a total of seven runs. The West Valley Dodgers did all they could to try and contain the Rangers, but it was not to be their day. The final score was Rangers 10 and Dodgers 2. This is the Third Consecutive Championship for Tom Johnson and his Rangers team. Next year, they say they will move up and do battle in the National Division, they are clearly ready!
