2004 Las Vegas Open
The 2004 Las Vegas Open tournament was again won by a team from Pacific Coast Baseball. Teams from all over the country gathered in Las Vegas over the 2004 Memorial Day weekend determined to knock off the favored and defending champions, Tinseltown Terror. After all the pool play and playoff games were finished; Pacific Coast Baseball was guarnteed another championship because the two remaining teams slated to meet in the championship were both from PCBL. The PCBL Giants and the Tinseltown Terror sent everyone else home a day early and faced off to decide this title at beautiful Sierra Vista High School. Giants starting pitcher, left hander Josh Goldberg was able to keep the Terror's explosive offense in check thru seven innings and closer Tighe Curran picked up the save pitching the final two innnings preserving the 6-4 victory for the Giants.
